I purchased this set mostly for the turntable to displace items I'm selling. It is very smooth, as you can see in this video. It does make some noise, but it's acceptable. I used to be a cake decorator and this is a great deal for someone who does cake decorating part time. The metal spatulas are good quality as well. I recommend as a bargain option for a young decorator.
