this is the greatest thing since sliced bread! At 72 opening jars have been a challenge for several years. I've done the tapping on the counter, prying the lid til it pops, rubber grabbers, clamps made for a better grip, when the husband couldn't even open the jar for me I had given up hope and then I saw this opener. it's a dream come true for my old arthritic hands. It's a good thing I have some self discipline or all the jars in the house would be opened. amazed is perfect description of our reaction to my new favorite tool. Will be ordering as gifts.
